reception at the Silvermine Tavern will be perfect. The
incomparable setting over the mill pond, the museum
quality antiques, and the authentic New England
atmosphere are all unique to our Inn.
As an owner
operated Inn, we believe that each guest at the
Silvermine Tavern is special, and deserves the extra
attention that will make us their restaurant of choice
for years to come.
Silvermine Tavern
Innkeeper Frank Whitman believes that your
wedding should be exactly the way you want it. “We take
pride in making your wedding the best party you’ve ever
been to.” Sit back, enjoy your special day, and let us
do the work.
Whether your
cocktail hour is outside on one of our tree-shaded
porches overlooking the Silvermine River and mill pond,
or inside, in our air-conditioned Parlors, no one has to
stand in line at the bar to get a drink. All beverages
are served to your guests; hors d’oeuvres are served
butler style, as well as displayed for folks to help
themselves.
Space, including a
large dance floor, is available for a minimum of 75, to
a maximum of 200 guests.
- Friday Evening Receptions:
space available after 5:00 PM
- Saturday afternoon, for up to 200, finished by 5:00 PM
- Saturday evening, after 6:30 PM, for a maximum of 90
adult guests, or a minimum guarantee of 140 adult
guests.
- Sunday evening, earliest start 5:00 PM, finished by
10:00 PM, for up to 200 guests
If you guarantee a
minimum of 140 adult guests, we will close the
Silvermine Tavern restaurant for your exclusive use.
Ask
for our reception packages. The packages include a
4-hour reception (with the option of additional
time), a premium brand open bar, 6 choices of Hors
d’oeuvre, red and white wine, champagne for the
toast, and either a four-course served meal, or a
buffet dinner.
The
Silvermine Tavern has 11
guest rooms
to accommodate out of town guests.
