The Silvermine Tavern is an excellent setting for your location shoot.  The outside offers clapboard siding, stone walls, a tree shaded deck that looks up the secluded tree-lined Silvermine River, an old mill building by a waterfall (including a covered porch directly on the waterfall) and a low, long red barn.  Inside the main building are bedrooms furnished with antiques (two with porches looking down the river), two beautiful parlors and seven dining rooms—all unique, but all decorated with antiques, including paintings, tavern signs and farm implements.  Several of the rooms have high ceilings.  There are five fireplaces in the main building alone.  There are several smaller rooms as well.  The Country Store building has one large high-ceilinged room with painted walls, a fireplace and interesting windows plus two small inner rooms.  There are two glassed-in porches as well.  The Silvermine Tavern is open and available all year.  A large parking lot can easily accommodate any necessary vehicles and equipment.
