Directions to the Silvermine Tavern
The Silvermine Tavern is about one hour from New York City and the New York Airports.  Both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway (RT. 15) provide easy access to the Tavern.

FROM MAIN AVENUE, NORWALK, MERRITT 7 CORPORATE BUILDINGS    Turn right onto Main Avenue. Go under the Merritt Parkway. Go to third stop light and turn right onto Perry Avenue.  Follow Perry Avenue approximately 2 ˝ miles to the second stop sign; turn left over the bridge (look to the right for the waterfall) and the Tavern is up the hill on the right hand side.  Turn right at the stop sign to find the parking lot.                

FROM NEW YORK CITY VIA MERRITT PARKWAY  Take Hutchinson River Parkway which becomes the Merritt Parkway.  Take EXIT 40-A, Main Avenue. At end of exit, turn right onto Main Avenue. Go to third stop light and turn right onto Perry Avenue.  Follow Perry Avenue for approximately 2 ˝ miles to the second stop sign; turn left over the bridge (look to the right for the waterfall) and the Tavern is up the hill on the right hand side. Turn right at the stop sign to find the parking lot.

FROM BRIDGEPORT-NEW HAVEN VIA MERRITT PARKWAY  Take EXIT 40-A,  Main Avenue.  At end of exit, turn right onto Main Avenue.  Go to third stop light and turn right onto Perry Avenue.  Follow Perry Avenue approximately 2 ˝ miles to the second stop sign; turn left over the bridge (look to the right for the waterfall) and the Tavern is up the hill on the right hand side.  Turn right at the stop sign to find the parking lot 

FROM NEW YORK CITY VIA I-95  Take EXIT 15, Route 7 North.  Get off of Rt. 7 at EXIT 2; turn right at the end of the ramp.  At the second stop light (by Wendy’s), turn right; at next stop light, (by the Shell gas station), turn right onto Silvermine Avenue.  At the 2nd stop sign bear right and continue on for about 1 ˝ miles to the Tavern.

FROM BRIDGEPORT-NEW HAVEN VIA I-95  Take EXIT 15, stay in the left hand land of the exit to pick up Route 7 North. Get off of Rt. 7 at EXIT 2; turn right at the end of the ramp.  At the second stop light (by Wendy’s), turn right; at next stop light, (by the Shell gas station), turn right onto Silvermine Avenue.  At the 2nd stop sign bear right and continue on for about 1 ˝ miles to the Tavern.

FROM ROUTE 7 NORTH (I-84, DANBURY, RIDGEFIELD, WILTON)  Follow Old Route 7 South to Norwalk.  Continue straight on Main Avenue where Route 7 turns right at Gristmill Road (opposite the Motor Vehicle Dept. Office). Go under the Merritt Parkway. Go to third stop light and turn right onto Perry Avenue.  Follow Perry Avenue approximately 2 ˝ miles to the second stop sign; turn left over the bridge (look to the right for the waterfall) and the Tavern is up the hill on the right hand side.  Turn right at the stop sign to find the parking lot.

FROM NEW CANAAN  Take Route 106 East (towards Wilton). Cross Route 123; at the first stop sign after crossing Route 123, turn right onto Silvermine Road, leaving Route 106.  This will lead past the Silvermine Guild of Artists.  At next stop sign, turn left on Silvermine Avenue for one block to the Tavern.  Turn left at the stop sign to find the parking lot.
